Mott’s Integrated Gas System Filters Offer New Opportunities to Semiconductor Market

FARMINGTON, Conn., July 10, 2000 – Mott Corporation announces a full line of filter and flow restrictor products in designs compatible with the gas system interfaces currently gaining acceptance in process tools, gas cabinets and valve manifold box installations per SEMI 2787.

Mott’s Integrated Gas System Filters (IGS) are designed to provide greater system flexibility, coupled with ease of change-out and reduced lead-times. This flexibility also enables the end user to make necessary modifications in the field in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

Additional benefits are derived from the system’s ability to significantly reduce the territory within the equipment that is consumed by the gas stick. The system eliminates the need to weld components together, thus resolving problems which may occur with such cumbersome installations.

Mott offers IGS filters in 316L SS, nickel and Hastelloy C-22, providing compatibility with all process gases. Flow rates are available from 10 to 100 liters per minute.

Mott also supports the 1 1/8" footprint C-Seal to the same degree as other existing designs (i.e., standard C-Seal and W-Seal) with respect to range of available flow rates and materials of construction.
