Mott Introduces the GasShield® Defender with Bekaert Stainless Steel Fiber Media

Product is first one developed from recent alliance with Bekaert Advanced Filtration

FARMINGTON, Conn., Oct. 14, 2002 – Mott Corporation announces the GasShield Defender, the company’s first high purity filter for the semiconductor industry utilizing Bekaert stainless steel fiber media. The new filter is the first product developed from Mott’s recent alliance with Bekaert Advanced Filtration, a division of Bekaert Advanced Materials (Zwevegem, Belgium). The all stainless steel Defender filter features the same strength, long life, and quality of all Mott porous metal filters, as well as true 9-log filtration. Overall length of the filter is 3.31” and the rated flow is 50 slpm.
