Mott’s Smaller C-Seal Footprint for Modular Mount Gas Filters Supported to Same Degree as Standard Designs

25% Reduction Yields More Area and Decreases Gas Panel Weight

FARMINGTON, Conn., Dec. 6, 2000 – Mott Corporation is now offering a 1-1/8" footprint C-Seal modular mount gas filter along with its existing standard component designs of Integrated Gas System Filters (IGS). Available flow rates and materials of construction for this smaller footprint are equal to those of the 1-1/2" C-Seal and W-Seal products. The 25 percent reduction in size compared to the 1-1/2" filter yields a decrease in weight, as well as a shorter overall length of the stick.

Mott’s full line of Integrated Gas System Filters and flow restrictor products are designed for compatibility with the gas system interfaces currently gaining acceptance in process tools, gas cabinets and valve manifold box installations per SEMI 2787. The IGS line provides greater system flexibility, coupled with ease of change-out, leak testing and reduced lead-times.

Mott also offers IGS filters in 316L SS, nickel and Hastelloy^® C-22, providing compatibility with all process gases. Flow rates are available from 10 to 100 liters per minute.
