SUSANNE D. SPARGO PROMOTED TO POSITION OF VICE PRESIDENT,
HUMAN RESOURCES FOR MOTT CORPORATION

FARMINGTON, CT [April 2008] – Mott Corporation has promoted Susanne D. Spargo to the position of Vice President, Human Resources effective March 31, 2008. The Board of Directors voted unanimously to elevate Susanne to this position recognizing her tireless efforts in all aspects of her responsibilities, and her strong advocacy for all of Mott’s employees.

Ms. Spargo joined Mott in 1995 serving as an Administrative Assistant for the Office of the President. She was promoted to the position of Manager, Employee Relations in 2000, to Director, Employee Relations in 2002, and finally to Vice President in 2008. Ms. Spargo came to Mott with eighteen years of business experience and has been involved in a variety of management roles including Vice President of Operations for Heritage Financial Corporation. In these positions, Ms. Spargo was responsible for all administrative functions including human resources. Ms. Spargo has a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire. She is an active member of the Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut and the Society of Human Resources Management. She also achieved certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2003 and was recertified in 2006.
