Inertial Gas Sampling Filters

Farmington, CT (August, 2004) – Mott Corporation continues to enhance it’s product literature by introducing a brochure specific to gas sampling filtration.

Mott’s Inertial Gas Sampling (IGS) filters allow the collection of particle-free samples from virtually any gas stream, even those which are very hot or heavily contaminated. Their all-metal strength and cross-flow efficiency provide long term - and in many cases, permanent – filtration.

IGS filters come in a variety of configurations and have been used in applications such as open hearth steel furnaces, utility coal pulverizers, lime kilns, fluid catalytic crackers, coking oven off-gas atmospheres, boiler flue gas for combustion control and emission monitoring just to name a few.
